Sector Seven

Scenario:

You play the part of an advanced scout craft equipped with a new experimental single-fighter warp drive.

Sent ahead to investigate a planet after scans returned anomalous results, upon your arrival near the planet you come across machines who hinder your progress.

Run instructions:

Download the NDS file and run it in an emulator (DeSmuME is what I use) or with a compatible DS game cartridge.

Controls:

D-pad to move in those directions.

ABXY to fire, consider them as a D-pad.

Select to pause the game.

When in menus, use UP and DOWN to choose between options and use A to select an option.

With DeSmuME I have the D-pad bound to arrows and ABXY bound to their respective positions on WASD, keeping cardinal directions. I find this the easiest to use.

Other:

This is a project I have been working on since December 2021 I believe. This first version is the first complete version I have made (July 2023).

I am hoping to end up finishing it, with plans to add 3 new bosses alongside some extra things. Although I have no clue how long this will take as I have become a bit burned out and will probably work on a different project in the meantime.
